深宫高墙，夜深人静，大清朝第二代皇帝的妃子董鄂刚刚谢世，顺治皇帝依恋在她的画像前通不欲生，茶饭不思，朝政不理，悲痛已极。 顺治皇帝决定立三阿哥玄烨为新皇帝，特命索尼、苏克萨哈、遏必隆、鳌拜四大臣为辅政大臣。然后毅然弃世离尘，出家了。 在新皇帝登基大典之时，已作了太皇太后的孝庄文特将四辅臣召来训教，然后命具有特殊身份的宫女——苏麻喇姑把小皇帝送至登基。几年过去了，小皇上长大了，索尼为了亲近皇上，听说将要选秀，特将自己的孙女推荐给孝庄文，正中孝庄文之意，她为了巩固皇权，扩充皇族，在三百多名秀女中还是选中索尼辅臣的孙女作为新皇后。16岁康熙在危急关头，大智大勇，真真假假，虚虚实实，调兵遣将，巧引鳌拜入殿，用身边宗室子弟将鳌拜擒获。班布尔善见风使舵。 玄烨大智若愚，巧使班布尔善当众揭穿鳌拜，并列其罪状，将鳌拜打入死牢。 康熙平息了叛乱，论功行赏。 苏麻喇姑因...。A Japanese ghost story adapted from Hearn's "Yuki-Onna"(Kwaidan). Two woodcutters, an old man and his young apprentice, Minokichi get trapped in a snowstorm in the forest and take refuge in a hut. That night, Minokichi is forced to make a bargain that will later be forgotten. Filmed and edited by Michelle. Sets designed & built by Michelle & Kheri.
