本片是《从地心窜出》系列的前传，前三集中肆虐人间的巨型怪物最早出现在此，位于内华达的一座盛产银矿的小镇，由于矿工纷纷离奇死亡，很快就成为空城，具有贵族身分的加默拥有当地的采矿权，雇用了外籍佣兵凯利来和这群怪物打交道，以免断了自己的财路，不过在镇上肆虐的并非人类，加默和镇上幸存的镇民必须全副武装，以和这些巨型怪物開始了正面对决...。进入现代以来，我们有了一套完美的知识体系，其可以解释很多现象，但是这些完美的知识体系它的普遍必然性，是不是一定存在呢？ 众所周知，一切知识的起源其实来源于一种重复，我们对重复的认识，才能建立起知识最初的地基。 再普遍的现象，它发生了10000次，难道第10001次也会同样发生吗？。In the 5th century, the Roman Empire was collapsing and barbarians threatened civilization.
