1964年，三名年轻以色列特工报称铲除了绰号「比克瑙医生」的集中营刽子手，回国时受到英雄式的欢迎。四十年后，队员薛夫突然造访当时已成为名作家的女战友丽楚，告知她「医生」仍然在生，并住在乌克兰的一家老人院内。薛夫要求丽楚把这「任务」完成。丽楚回忆那段在柏林的青葱岁月，三人奉命要把纳粹战犯生擒到以色列受审。但任务并不是如他们对外报告般顺利，三人更决意将这秘密永远隐藏，无奈当年的债到今天仍要偿还。。Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。
