However, their seemingly idyllic union has a dark side.。与英版类同，美版每集皆有独立的案件及一位等待法庭判决的被告，而剧中会重新描述被告的背景及被指控什么案件，同时让观众思考他是否有罪。。《底线》以郑州为主要拍摄地，通过几个大学毕业生在社会上生存与奋斗的故事，反映了当今社会大学生面对人生理想和生存底线的挣扎与反抗，揭示出无论生存、理想、事业，还是感情都有自己的底线。。
